Be Involved!

In 1978, the Native American Community Health Center was started with a small nursing grant. Since that time, the Native American Community Health Center, Inc. (dba NATIVE HEALTH) has been successfully providing primary medical, dental, WIC, wellness and behavioral health services to urban Native Americans in the Phoenix metro area. To date, we have served more than 100,000 individuals in their quest to attain quality care. In 2009 we served over 12,000 individuals which resulted in more than 68,000 visits.

 Your support matters! There are a number of ways in which you can support NATIVE HEALTH. NATIVE HEALTH is a private, non-profit organization 501(c)(3) providing medical, dental, behavioral health, WIC and wellness programs to urban Native Americans. Each NATIVE HEALTH program has unique wants and needs. Donations are welcome and may be designated to support a specific program. Arizona Tax Credits for Charitable Contributions - NATIVE HEALTH qualifies for the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit. This credit allows you to receive a dollar for dollar tax credit up to $400.00 (joint tax return) or $200.00 (single tax return).  Making a donation to NATIVE HEALTH enables you to help an agency that serves the Native American community while reducing the taxes you are required to pay.  It may cost you nothing to donate to NATIVE HEALTH.  A tax credit reduces your final liability, lowering the amount of money you will pay.  You may also be eligible to take a Federal deduction.  Please consult a tax attorney for more information on your specific situation. NATIVE HEALTH is now an approved agency for the Arizona State Employees Charitable Campaign (SECC).  This enables the State of Arizona employees to contribute to Native American Community Health Center, Inc.
